Desktop application notifications and new message issues

Uploads per message limited to 5 files

Service mattermost not working

UI issues when using Windows Desktop App with Citrix or RDP

The UI should re-paint correctly

Observed behavior

This only happens when I use a Citrix Virtual Desktop or if I use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to my PC.

How to change http to https url in docker

Unable to access system console, permission error in log

Service doesn't start mattermost

If i stop the service and run the binary manually again, it works fine.

Where else should I look for clues?

Can't play or download audio files on iOS?

502 Error After New Installation

Messages not refreshing in Linux App

Notifications without sound not working

One channel unusable after using GitLab slack command

Now, I don't know what GitLab did post that results in that mess but even worse, how can I restore my channel such that it displays the other stuff again?

Can I grab the broken messages from the database and maybe delete them there manually? Please help. We're using that for DevOps and we're missing status messages.

Direct Message Frozen

I was using the direct message feature and sent a friend a link to an application but now our direct message chat locks up mattermost in the browser tab and the desktop client :frowning: .

Steps to reproduce

I haven't tried to replicate issue do to locking up already one chat but below is a similar link I sent.

Save button disabled on settings page, upon first run of app on Mac OS X

So there is no way to send/receive messages.

Expected behavior

It should save the settings and continue to the next screen, to allow the user to send and receive messages.

Observed behavior

No error messages.
And no log file found.
There is no way to get past the Settings page.

Be advised, I just noticed that v3.6 was available for Mac OS X, so I just installed it and it worked.
So I guess this can be ignored.

But could not get port 443 (https) to work. Port 80 works fine.
Running on AWS with an Ubuntu 16.0 AMI.

Steps to reproduce

  1. Create self signed cert.pem and key.pem with openssl.
    > openssl req -x509 -newkey rsa:4096 -newkey rsa:4096 -keyout key.pem -out cert.pem -days 60 -nodes
  2. Copy private key and public key cert to docker web directory (first have to create the directory path)
    > mkdir -p ./mattermost-docker/volumes/web/cert/
    > sudo cp *.pem ./mattermost-docker/volumes/web/cert/
  3. Create and start docker images.
    > docker-compose up -d (note: already built)
  4. Go into MM via web and setup 1st user. Then configure TLS to use *.pem files. I've tried both redirecting port 80 to 443 and not redirecting port 80.
  5. stop and restart docker images.
    > docker-compose stop
    > docker-compose start
  6. Got into MM via secure web (HTTPS), and it times out with "This site can't be reached".

Expected behavior

I expect to be able to reach the MM login web page via port 443.

Observed behavior

HTTPS connection times out.

Mattermost wont connect to postfix

3. After import the attachments appear in posts, but when I click on them they don't preview or download. The links are returning 404 errors.
